Each photographer utilized their camera as a portrait taking
device over a three-week period capturing personal relationships
and community subject matter that is significant in their lives.
After the three-week workshop, 27 images were chosen for a two-month long
exhibition that is showcased throughout the East Cleveland Public Library.
This experience resulted in a deepened sense of understanding and
ability to translate their personal content into their own knowledge base
while communicating the knowledge back to their community.
