IS A SOCIAL PHOTOGRAPHIC
ART PROJECT THAT IS FUELED BY PUBLIC
INTERACTION AND ENGAGEMENT
This process involves installment
of disposable cameras in Cleveland neighborhoods to allow the curious
who pass by to take a picture.
Touching upon the themes of demography, the trend of the
"selfie" and photography as a tool
for communication, the results
are candid and speak about the
willingness to collaborate
in a visual dialogue.
The aim is to gather photographs
from various neighborhoods of the
city of Cuyahoga County underlining
the unique perspectives of the diverse collective of Cleveland while also revealing our shared humanity.
11” x 14” framed prints
are available for $40 each. All
proceeds go toward lylesart.org
and future projects like this.
